Topic description
In this topic students are guided through the process of conducting research and writing a research paper in a business-related area. Students will conduct a review and analysis of relevant literature, theory and methods, and will undertake analysis of a business issue
Educational aims
The topic aims to develop students' understanding of research methods, conducting a literature review and analysis of theory and methods, and writing a research paper.
Expected learning outcomes
Students successfully completing this topic should be able to:
- prepare a research proposal
- conduct and write a literature review
- articulate methods and theory used in business research
- analyse business related issues
- produce an academic paper of approximately 12,000 words
