Topic description
ln this topic students are required to conduct an in-depth piece of research and write a research paper in a business-related area. Students will conduct a review and analysis of relevant literature, theory and methods, and will undertake analysis of a business issue.
Educational aims
The topic aims to develop students' understanding of research methods, conducting a literature review and analysis of theory and methods, and writing a research paper.
Expected learning outcomes
Students successfully completing this topic should be able to:
- prepare a research proposal
- conduct and write an in-depth literature review of their chosen business-related area
- write a review of methods and theory used in the chosen business-related area
- write an analysis of a business issue
- produce an academic paper, of approximately 18,000 words, of publishable standard
