Topic description
This topic offers students possibilities to extend further previous knowledge in the broad field of cultural studies related to French, Indonesian, Italian, Modern Greek or Spanish. Students will be required to undertake independent study on a topic to be negotiated with their supervisor.
Educational aims
This topic aims to:
- further develop students' skills in an aspect of cultural studies related to advanced level French, Indonesian, Italian, Modern Greek or Spanish
- give students the opportunity to undertake independent research in a specialised area of cultural studies at an advanced level
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic students will be able to:
- identify, observe and analyse a specialised area of cultural studies
- plan for and carry out a written investigation in a defined area of cultural studies
