Topic description
Educational aims
- •To provide students with the tools required to conduct transparent and ethical research,
- •To provide a framework to judge the quality of research that informs choice of interventions for psychological disorders.
- •To assist students to develop their own research project in a timely fashion.
Expected learning outcomes
On successful completion of this topic students should be able to:
- appreciate the research methods that are consistent with an open science approach
- understand how these can be useful in investigating issues of relevance to psychology
- design a research project.
