Topic description
Students must enrol in and complete this topic and then REHB9102 Clinical Rehabilitation Research Project Implementation and Evaluation in two consecutive semesters.

This topic involves critical analysis of literature and research project design in anarea of clinical rehabilitation.
Educational aims
This topic aims to enable students to develop the:

  • Ability to identify, critically analyse and apply evidence for rehabilitation approaches and techniques

  • Ability to plan a research project in rehabilitation

  • Analytical skills to analyse current theories and approaches in clinical rehabilitation

Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic, students should be able to demonstrate:

  • The skills necessary to design a research project related to clinical rehabilitation

  • The ability to effectively describe and present the research methodology employed and the rationale

  • An ability to prepare an effective ethics submission
