Students must enrol in and complete the topic REHB9101 Clinical Rehabilitation Research Project Design before commencing this topic.

The project involves individual reading and implementing a research project design in the area of clinical rehabilitation and its contributing disciplines. The work is to be reported in a research project report written in the form of a journal article.

This topic aims to enable students to develop the:

Ability to identify, critically analyse and apply evidence for rehabilitation approaches and techniques
Ability to implement and evaluate a research project in rehabilitation
Analytical skills to analyse current theories and approaches in clinical rehabilitation

On completion of this topic, students should be able to demonstrate:

The skills necessary to implement a research project related to clinical rehabilitation
The ability to effectively present the research outcomes and implications
Well-developed writing skills in the form of a journal article suitable for submission to a rehabilitation journal
