Topic description
In this topic students will create work that expresses story and place, with a level of mastery. Practical exercises will continue to push the synthesis of form, colour, shape, line, and story.
Educational aims
This topic aims to:

  • Provide students with the opportunity to explore uses of visual language
  • Allow students to demonstrate their understanding of complex shading and visual relationships
  • Provide opportunities for students to get practical and personal feedback on individual works
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic students will be able to:

  • Interpret realistic industrial project briefs
  • Discuss artworks using industry specific terms
  • Distinguish between different industrial level digital art programs
  • Explain design theory in reference to specific works
