Topic description
In this topic students will work in self-directed crews with a supervising lecturer to produce a screen production project.

Under the supervision of the lecturer, students will manage the production of the screen production project including crews, cast, budget, permissions, logistics and schedules.
Educational aims
This topic aims to:

  • further develop student producing for a screen production project

  • further develop student skills in project management, scheduling and logistics for a screen production project

  • further develop student skills in collaborating with crews and participants

  • further develop student skills in creative decision-making and problem solving

  • allow students to further develop the skills in risk assessing and generating paperwork for a screen production project
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic students will be able to:

  • produce a short screen production project

  • manage and schedule a for a screen production project

  • collaborate with crews for a screen production project

  • project manage including crew, schedule and book equipment and facilities for a screen production project

  • make creative decisions and solve problems in a limited time span
