This topic provides students with the opportunity to develop research and pre-production skills as a producer/director or craft specialist for a major project short fiction or non-fiction screen work.

This topic aims to further develop:

the ability to research and communicate creative production concepts skills in the production of screen projects
skills in planning for screen projects, and the completion of required documentation

On completion of this topic students will be able to:

communicate and transmit ideas about their work to peers, industry and the broader community both verbally and in writing
demonstrate research skills and methodology in devising a major screen project
demonstrate specialised creative and technical skills required in pre-production of a major screen project
generate production documentation (budget, risk assessment, schedule, crew, cast and location agreements) required for a major project short fiction or non-fiction screen work.
