Topic description
This topic is taken in conjunction with Digital Media Honours Project 1. The focus will be on the presentation of the proposed project and all logistical tasks required for production. Students will work in a collaborative context to achieve the topic aims.
Educational aims
This topic aims to develop students':
- communication skills required in a major project
- preproduction and management skills of a major project
- ability to undertake risk assessment and the appropriate paperwork for the successful realisation of a major project
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic students will be able to:
- pitch a proposed project
- organise and manage the key collaborative personal required for production
- manage all logistical tasks required for the project, including risk assessment
