Topic description
This topic investigates an aspect of Ministry Studies. This aspect might be an extension of the subject matter studied in a Ministry Studies topic for the ordinary degree. A proposed method of assessment must be submitted to the topic convener. After approval has been given a supervisor with whom the student will work will be appointed. Attendance at lectures, tutorials and/or seminars may be required.
Educational aims
This topic provides students with opportunities to:
- investigate an aspect of Ministry Studies in depth
- develop skills in basic research and analysis
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic students will be able to:
- identify an aspect of Ministry Studies, theoretical or practical that merits scholarly investigation
- identify relevant recent and historical literature about the chosen issue and critically evaluate its relevance
- analyse problems and possible solutions related to the practice of the identified issue
- communicate theoretical concepts of Ministry Studies, as they apply to specific individuals or groups
