Topic description
This topic gives students the opportunity to further develop their painting skills and understanding of various paint mediums.
Educational aims
For students to:
- develop their painting skills
- develop an understanding of the application of various painting mediums
- have an opportunity to develop an understanding of the issues involved and concepts involved in painting practice
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic students will be able to demonstrate:
- a range of methods for expressing ideas through paint
- the development of their skills in painting
- their ability to critically analyse paintings using informed criteria
