Topic description
Educational aims
  • To introduce postgraduate students to a wide variety of evidence-based approaches that can be used with health issues
  • To develop skills in addressing complex issues related to the management of health from a psychological perspective
Expected learning outcomes
  • To develop an understanding of how bio-cognitive-social model can inform our understanding of working with people who have chronic illnesses
  • To develop an understanding of the issues and problems attached to specific chronic illnesses
