Flinders University's main campus is located in Bedford Park, just south of the Central Business District of Adelaide, the capital city of the State of South Australia. The most direct routes from the CBD travel via Anzac Highway and South Road, or Goodwood Road, Ayliffes Road and South Road. From the airport, travel via Burbridge Road and South Road.

The campus is accessible through the main entrance off Sturt Road, or via Flinders Drive, which runs off South Road past the Flinders Medical Centre.

A number of bus routes run directly from the city and suburbs to the heart of the campus - the most frequent and direct being the 216/210 service from the CBD via Goodwood Road. Further information and timetables are available from the Adelaide Metro web site.
