Helen Nichols' work involves fighting for children who have suffered child abuse to be questioned by video, so that they are not forced to face the abuser in court. When court proceedigs are delayed, the video can now be kept so that children are not forced again and again to give their evidence in open court.

Helen Nichols is now engaged in supporting the use of new technology in remote regions that will help in the provision of justice and in swifter diagnosis.

We hope our speaker will be Helen Nichols, a lawyer from the Solicitor General's Office, who also spoke to us three years ago.
