Scholarships and Bursaries

The AFUW-SA Inc Trust Fund raises money through hiring academic dress for graduations and other functions. This hiring service is run by volunteers, and the proceeds are used to fund bursaries and scholarships. In 2005, more than $100,000 was raised and distributed in this way.

• Undergraduate bursaries for Indigenous Australian women at South Australian universities
• A bursary for Indigenous Australian women undfertaking Graduate Diplomas or Graduate Certificates at South Australian universities
• Postgraduate Bursaries

    • Students at South Australian universities
    • Women at any Australian university
    • Indigenous Australian women

Information for Indigenous women seeking scholarships and bursaries for post-secondary education (including TAFE)

Application forms are available from mid-October each year and may be obtained from:

The Fellowships Trustee must receive completed applications by 1st March each year.
