Professor Nancy Cromar

Professor Cromar leads the University’s international activities and has responsibility for its international strategy. She works closely with fellow portfolio heads to ensure that internationalisation is integrated into the core University activities of teaching, research and engagement. 

Professor Cromar has oversight of the International Centre which welcomes international students from more than 90 countries worldwide. The Centre manages study and research partnerships, international marketing, enrolments and student services, and coordinates the University’s highly successful student mobility programs.


Professor Cromar was appointed as Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) in July 2013. She had previously held positions of leadership in the School of Medicine, the School of the Environment and as Associate Dean (International) for the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Prior to joining Flinders, Professor Cromar held roles at Edinburgh Napier University, the Scottish Agricultural College and the University of Adelaide.
