The Law Pathway is offered as part of the Bachelor of Justice and Society and requires one year of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time). The Law Pathway is offered by the Flinders Law School, within the Faculty of Education, Humanities and Law. Upon successful completion of the one year Law Pathway, students will transfer to one of the courses listed under the Program of Study below.

The Law Pathway has different admission requirements to the other programs of study available in the Bachelor of Justice and Society. In order to undertake the Law Pathway commencing students must apply for admission to the Law Pathway through SATAC.

Admission requirements

The minimum requirements for consideration for entry to all undergraduate courses are specified in detail in the University Entry Requirements.

  • the combined degree of Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice/Bachelor of Justice and Society.  Students will be guaranteed entry on the condition that a GPA of 5.00 (Credit) or higher is achieved over the 36 units of study and a grade of Pass or higher has been achieved in the four LLAW topics. Upon transferring students will receive 36 units of credit transfer (18 units towards the Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice for LLAW1211, LLAW1212, LLAW1213 and LLAW1221 and 18 units towards the Bachelor of Justice and Society).
