Alice is a Research Associate in the Methodological Innovations theme in the Caring Futures Institute in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Her work focusses on research-policy engagement activities of nursing and allied health researchers. In 2021 she completed her PhD on factors influencing Primary Health Networks' evidence-informed and equity-oriented primary health care planning at The Southgate Institute for Health, Society and Equity at Flinders University. She has worked on qualitative research projects in various aspects of primary health care and public health, including private health insurance, community health workers, state government PHC initiatives and social determinants of health in non-health sectors. Alice has over a decade of experience in meso‐level primary health care organisations including delivering, developing and evaluating primary health care programmes in after hours primary care, quality use of medicines, GP workforce support and aged care, as well as conducting population health/primary health care needs assessment research.
