I have worked in Australia, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, East Timor, and Thailand. I worked mainly in nutrition and public health social change program, development, implementation, and evaluation. My roles have included, Health and Wellbeing Coordinator for Compass Group Australia, the Nutrition Project Officer with Australian Youth Ambassadors in Nepal and nutritionist for an Australian Aid project in Thailand. I completed a Ph.D. in Public Health focusing on behavioural change. I obtained a Masters in Health Education and Promotion and my thesis was on behavioural modeling. Prior to my current position I completed a post-doctorate investigating mindful eating with the National Institute of Health and Nutrition in Japan.

As Research Officer at Southgate Institute I am involved in many research projects. These include, the Australian Research Council funded project investigating energy, environment and justice policy and the social determinants of health and Healthy South, a project investigating health promotion in southern Adelaide.
