Anne joined the Centre as a Research Assistant in 2003. She worked for twenty years in medical research prior to this and has eleven years’ experience working in pathology laboratories. Anne has worked across a range of point-of-care testing projects and her roles at the Centre have included quality management for the QAAMS Program and evaluation of point-of-care testing devices. She was also involved in training and quality management for the Point-of-Care Testing in General Practice Trial.
In 2011, Anne was appointed Assistant Manager of the QAAMS Program. In this role she oversees the day to day running of all aspects of the program, including recruitment and enrolments, connectivity, quality management, training and competency assessment, data collection and analysis, liaison with services, delivery of the annual workshop and reporting to government. Anne’s special interests include device evaluation, connectivity and the provision of consumer support for point-of-care testing programs.
