I am currently working within the Caring Future's Institute in the area of Knowledge Translation focusing on education and capacity building across the Institute. My role involves supporting existing research programs to have a Knowledge Translation underpinning and introduce the structured use of implementation theory and frameworks to ensure high quality research is getting into clinical practice.

Specifically, I am working with a team on the refinement of the 'integrated - Promoting Action on Research Implementation in Health Services (i-PARIHS) implementation framework. In this work, we are focusing on the development of tools and resources to support the use of this framework in research and clinical practice.

Since completing my PhD in 2016 at the University of Adelaide, I have worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow within Acute Care and Cardiovascular Research at Flinders University. In this role I co-ordinated a Systematic Review Program, which generated over 12 peer-reviewed publications on a range of cardiovascular related topics.

My PhD provided an epidemiological perspective of migrant health by undertaking secondary analysis of cross-sectional national and state databases. My thesis, compared the demographic, health and health-related outcomes over time and across birthplace groups. This work highlighted the diversity of outcomes within and between birthplace groups adding depth to existing knowledge around the heterogeneity of migrant health outcomes. I have a foundational understanding of quantitative research principles and a high level of analytical skills. My research interests have included the epidemiology of chronic disease and risk factor surveillance.
