As Innovation Manager at ARIIA (Aged Care Research and Industry Innovation Australia), Fiona leads innovation initiatives, capacity building, and partnerships, to improve the delivery of services for older people. Fiona has worked in the not-for-profit sector for 20 years with roles spanning health education, health promotion, community services, mental health, child and youth health, and residential and home care for older people.

Her expertise and professional interests include co-design, co-production, and customer and user experience design; older people's engagement with technology, social media and the arts; peer learning, e-learning, habits and behaviour change. She was Health Services Manager at Diabetes SA, Co-design Manager at ACH Group, and held education and project roles at Arthritis SA, Carers SA and Emerging Minds (then COPMI), was Consumer Engagement expert on the Clinical Advisory Council for the SA Commission for Excellence and Innovation in Health, and is a member of the Technology Special Interest Group of the Australia Association of Gerontology.
