Gill commenced work at Flinders University in 1996, in the Careers Centre (now Careers and Employers Liaison Centre). In 1997, she spent 18 months in the School of Nursing in various roles before moving to Enrolment Services from 1998 to 2018. In March 2018, Gill found a new home with the Student Administration Services team within the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work.
