Helen graduated from FUSA and has worked as a speech pathologist in Adelaide, London and Brunei over the past 12 years. While she is predominantly a clinician in acute and intensive care, she has a strong involvement with student teaching, Problem Based Learning and guest lecturing earning Academic Status with Flinders University since 2005. Helen's clinic interests include dysphagia assessment and intervention, tracheostomy care and Alternative and Augmentative Communication across a range of medical units at Flinders Medical Centre. She has a passion for clinical education and enjoys developing and building students clinical confidence and expertise in acute care speech pathology.
