With family connections to the eastern Arrernte and western Arrarnta peoples. I pay my respect to Elders past and present and acknowledge the land I live and work on are the lands of the Kaurna people.

I have been working in Aboriginal higher education student support for seven years, previously with UniSA's Wirringka Student Services (2 years) and prior to that with the David Unaipon College of Indigneous Education and Research for five of the nine years, with roles in research and teaching & learning for the other four years.

My university study areas were Computing and Business (HR and Industrial Relations). I have also a working background in data processing - IT in the state public service and trained as a computer programmer.

We have a brand new team in Yunggorendi Student Engagement and am honoured to play a role in coordinating the team's activities.

Key responsibilities

Provide leadership to and management of services spanning across the Indigenous student lifecycle including recruitment, enrolment, retention and graduation.

The position also provides leadership to a team that plays a key role in achieving student recruitment targets, conversion and re-engagement activities for Indigenous students enrolled in enabling, undergraduate and postgraduate programs and the development of an Indigenous Alumni.
