My PhD thesis examined the health impacts for workers who experienced mass job loss from a transnational automotive corporation based in southern Adelaide. Since completing my PhD my key role has been to build a knowledge base and to undertake research on the implications for health and health equity from products and practices of transnational corporations. To date this has focused on the fast food and extractive industries sectors.
