I have come from a long career in nursing, practicing across rural, regional & metropolitan settings throughout Australia. I have direct nursing experience in first nations community settings, orthopaedics, operating theatres, infectious paediatrics and all Intensive care settings, including neonatal, paediatrics & adult.

I am currently practicing 3 days a week in the Critical Care Unit at Flinders Medical Centre. Here my primary focus is trauma, retrieval nursing, cardiac surgery, nuerosurgery, liver transplants & advanced therapies such as Therapuetic Plasma exchange (TPE) & extracorpeal membrane oxygenation (ECMIO). I also teach ARC ALS for the hospitals education department.

I hope to role model my passion for critical care nursing through my teaching & constantly work towards an informed independant role for critical care nurses in the health care system.

My passions outside of work include sustainable living, permaculture & suburban farming. Please drop by (N218) to say hello or let me know if I can be of assisstance to you.
