Dr. Kanaka is a Lecturer in Finance for the Flinders Business at the college of Business, Government and Law, Flinders University. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK and holds a PhD from Banasthali University, India. She has master’s through research and coursework.
For the last 13 years, Kanaka has taught business programmes at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels in Finance such as Financial Management, Business Finance, Financial Aspects of Business, Corporate Finance and Investment Management at several universities in Adelaide, Dubai, Muscat and India. Before joining Flinders, Kanaka worked for Torrens University, Adelaide and prior to that she worked for Middlesex University, Dubai. She was the topic coordinator for 250 students at Middlesex University, Dubai and taught diverse programs for University of Bolton, University of Stirling and Scottish Qualifications Authority courses in the Middle East colleges. She is experienced in leadership roles and led the academics as Commerce Department Coordinator.
