Krystle is an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse with over 12 years experience working in Adelaide accross both Private and Public Critical Care Units. She is passionate in delivering a high level of care to her patients ensuring compassion and safety at all times. Evidenced based practice underpins her care which she has delivered over this time. Krystle has enjoyed leadership roles in her clinical practice and has enjoyed opportunites to educate and support both new and ongoing Registered Nurses in the Clinical Environment.

Krystle has been working as an Associate Lecturer in Nursing (Teaching Specialist) with Flinders University since 2017, prior to this she worked with the university in a Professional Experience Placement Facilitator Role commencing in 2013. Krystle is passionate in her teaching and aims to educate each student so that they may have the abilities to become successful Registered Nurses.

Key responsibilities

Student support and engagement, facilitation of teaching and learning in both roles as Lecturer and Topic Coordinator. Curriculum review and ongoing topic development. Supervisor of teaching team for Nurs 3005.

Teaching interests

Acute Care, Critical Care, Pathophysiology and Pharmacology, Evidenced based Practice and application of knowledge to practice.
