Libby Kalucy has worked in community health research and evaluation since 1988 when she joined Fran Baum at the Southern Community Health Research Unit. In 1997 she was appointed to the Department of General Practice, Flinders University, as Evaluation Manager of the SA HealthPlus Coordinated Care Trial. After this intense experience leading a team of evaluators over three years, Libby became Manager of the National Information Service in the same Department. This national organisation, which has been called the Primary Health Care Research and Information Service since 2001, is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing to generate, manage and share information about primary health care research and activities of the Divisions of General Practice. As the Director of the organisation since 2002, Libby has accumulated much knowledge and a great network of people within the Australian Primary Health Care Sector.

Research interests
Primary health care research and evaluation, the impact of primary health care research, and the translation of research into practice and policy. Libby leads applied research within PHC RIS that is relevant to the organisation's goals.
