Lucy is a Research Assistant in the Research Development and Support (RDS) team, working with the Caring Futures Institute.

She has a background in benchwork science with a focus on molecular biology. Her honours project focused on genetic regulation in the ocular cancer uveal melanoma.

Lucy gained further research experience by writing health technology assessments (HTAs) during her time at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (ASERNIP-S) as a Research Officer. The HTAs Lucy worked on were commissioned for assessment by the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC) and international stakeholders.
