Mark is a Biomedical Engineer in the Flinders Biomedical Engineering Department, Clinical & Research Support Group. The Department has substantial engineering tools, technical expertise and 40 years’ experience in developing & supporting biomedical devices for research and clinical use.
The Flinders Biomedical Engineering Department supports the College of Medicine and Public Health by providing solutions to technical problems, and developing biomedical devices and innovative tools for world-class research, including:
The Flinders Biomedical Engineering Department mentors Advanced Studies students during the development & trialling of biomedical devices and concepts; some examples include: early schleroderma diagnosis tools, estimating blood loss during labour and delivery, and developing lymphoedema assessment methods..
