Matthew Crocker is a Research Associate and joined the Caring Futures Institute in February 2021. After recently completing a Masters of Applied Economics, he is looking forward to combining his interest and experience in the health sector to develop skills in health economics.
With a background in secondary research, he is experienced in developing and carrying out systematic reviews. He possesses data analysis skills in R and welcomes opportunities to collaborate on research.
Prior to transitioning towards academia, Matthew worked for four and a half years as a physiotherapist in Adelaide's public and private sector. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Management and is eager to engage in public policy debate. He is particularly interested in understanding the intricacies of how the government finances its spending and how this affects public policy expenditure.
