My background is in marketing and communications management and operations, spanning ten years working in strategic roles leading marketing, events and communications teams in the not for profit sector. In early 2018 I made the switch to the tertiary sector, inspired by its expanding role in society and increasing interactions with government, industry and community stakeholders.
Prior to marketing and communications I worked in the banking and small business sectors, from operations through to management, which instilled a strategic mindset and financial acumen that I continue to value in my role today.
I work in the media and communications team at Flinders, assisting with a range of corporate communications including executive speeches, coordinating the university-wide staff newsletter and other internal messaging and communications strategy, presentations, media and stakeholder liaison, publications and helping share Flinders' research and teaching achievements with the broader community.
