Dr.Mubarak is a Senior Lecturer in social work and also Coordinator for the Social Work alumni in the Department of Social Work and Social Planning. Dr.Mubarak's area of research interest is child safety issues in cybespace and empowering young people to maximise the use of internet and benefit from it. Currently Dr.Mubarak is in the process of developing a training program on safe use of social networking sites in collaboration with GP Plus Marion Youth.
