Qianhui Wan is a postdoctoral researcher working in pregnancy, health and beyond (PHaB) lab and bioinformatician focusing on profiling DNA methylation of human placenta and matched maternal leukocytes across gestation using Illumina InfiniumĀ® MethylationEPIC BeadChips (EPIC arrays) and whole-genome bisulfite sequencing (WGBS) data. Qianhui is also interested in identifying DNA methylation changes between placenta samples from complicated (preeclampsia and gestational diabetes) and uncomplicated pregnancies, fetal sex differences between placenta samples from female and male bearing pregnancies, and DNA methylation biomarkers for pregnancy health and diseases.
