Ms Rebecca Edwards

Working in the television industry in Post Production since 2008, I am a highly experienced senior online editor and colourist, and an Avid Certified Instructor (ACI). I have credits on some of the industry’s biggest TV formats for the Australian, UK and USA markets and have worked in a diverse range of genres including award winning documentary, reality, and children’s TV. As a sole trader I have also trained executive producers and teams of editors working in many of the largest post houses and TV networks in Australia.

Over the past decade, whilst freelancing, I have also created and delivered short courses for the Australian Film Television and Radio School, leading me to deepen my passion for sharing knowledge, and facilitating others to navigate their way in this exciting but sometimes daunting industry.

I am excited to have joined the Screen team at Flinders University and to be inspiring the next generation of editors, sound designers and colourists.
