Richard has extensive design and manufacture experience in specialized and prototype equipment across the medical, automotive, agriculture and assembly industries. He has co authored inexcess of 20 publications on a wide range of bio-mechanical topics with a research interest in bones and joints.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide broad support in mechanical design, manufacturing services and research support to the teaching and research activities across the College of Science & Engineering.
  • Team Lead for Biomechanics, Civil and Mechanical Engineering as a member of the Engineering Service Group.
  • Provide broad support to: Medical Device Research Institute (MDRI) and Medical Devices Partnering Program (MDPP).
  • First Aid Officer for the College of Science & Engineering.
