As Associate Director, International Operations and Performance at Flinders University, Scott provides leadership to the university’s international strategy, including planning and performance, and directs portfolio operations for Flinders International. He works closely with university portfolios and College leadership to ensure university and College international activities are aligned and integrated.
Scott also leads a team of staff within Flinders International responsible for legislative and visa compliance, planning and analytics, and College international recruitment and engagement. Over 16 years in the sector, Scott has developed extensive and diverse Higher Education industry experience with a strong track record in strategy and planning, operations management, business development and key stakeholder collaboration.
Previous roles in Higher Education include Manager, International Centre at Flinders University, Senior Planning Officer, University of South Australia, Evaluation Manager, Centre for Learning and Professional Development, The University of Adelaide.
Prior to working in the Higher Education sector, Scott held a number of roles in the Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, and Information Technology and Telecommunications industries.
Scott has Physical Sciences and Environmental Management degrees from La Trobe University and Flinders University in Australia, is a member of the IEAA (International Education Association of Australia), and sits on several committees at Flinders University.
