Sean completed a Bachelor of Science with a major in Cognitive Science and Honours in Neuroscience. This was followed by PhD examining machine learning approaches to brain computer interfacing. He was a Vice-Chancellors Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Flinders University investigating binding of large-scale cortical networks for cognition in humans. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Oxford Centre for Functional MRI of the Brain (University of Oxford) working on the Developing Human Connectome project. He also maintains an adjunct lecturer position at Flinders University and actively collaborates with the Brain Signals Laboratory (BSL) in the School of Medicine.
