The NTMP Indigenous Clinical Student Scholarship has been established by The Poche Centre for Indigenous Health Alice Springs at Flinders University.
The scholarship is designed to:
a) provide financial assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who are enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of the Doctor of Medicine in the Northern Territory Medical Program; and
b) address the substantial level of family responsibilities and other costs incurred by Indigenous students in the course of their tertiary study.
At least one scholarship of upto $25,000 per annum will be offered each year.
a) be of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; and
b) identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander or both; and
c) be accepted as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait islander in the community in which they live or have lived; and
d) be enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of the Doctor of Medicine.
Applications should be submitted online through the Flinders University Student Information System. Applicants will need to login and navigate to the My Scholarships tab to submit an application. The application form for this scholarship is called “NTMP Indigenous Clinical Student Scholarship”, or you can search for it by the keyword "NTMP".
