Phil Hoffmann Travel :Phil Hoffmann Travel Postgraduate Scholarship

The University, in association with Phil Hoffmann Travel, has established the Phil Hoffmann Travel Postgraduate Scholarship. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a student enrolled in a postgraduate degree to undertake an educational experience (e.g. conference attendance, fieldwork, or exchange program) designed to enhance their academic program.

One scholarship will be available to be awarded annually to students enrolled on either a full-time or part-time basis.
The educational experience shall be undertaken inside or outside Australia and the scholarship will be tenable during the 18 month period following the notification of the award of the scholarship.


The scholarship will cover costs for travel arrangements made through Phil Hoffmann Travel up to the value of $2500.


Applicants for the scholarship must:
• be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia; and
• be enrolled in a postgraduate degree.


Applications from students commencing travel within 3 months of the scholarship closing date are not advised due to the time required to process applications.   Applicants must allow sufficient time for travel arrangements to be made through Phil Hoffmann travel after notification of the scholarship outcome. The successful applicant will have 18 months following successful notification to make their travel arrangements through Phil Hoffmann travel.

Applications should be submitted online through the Flinders University Student Information System. Applicants will need to login and navigate to the My Scholarships tab to submit an application.
