Hearing Australia :Hearing Australia: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Master of Audiology Scholarship

The Hearing Australia Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Master of Audiology Scholarship was established in 2017. The scholarship will recognise and support Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in the Master of Audiology at Flinders University.

One new scholarship will be available each year subject to funding. The scholarship is valued at $15,000 over two years.

Source of funds

The scholarship has been established through the generous support of Hearing Australia.

•    be accepted as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander by the community in which they live or have lived; and

•    be commencing a Master of Audiology at Flinders University in the year of the award; and

•    normally be enrolled full-time at Flinders University.


The tenure is 2 years subject to meeting ongoing eligibility criteria and a minimum GPA of 4.0.


The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Scholarship selection will be made in accordance with approved University procedures.


Applications should be submitted online through the Flinders University Student Information System by the specified closing date.


The scholarship will be advertised on the University website and other appropriate media as determined in consultation with the Donor.
