DESCRIPTION

Mr Austin Taylor, BEc Adel, Chartered Accountant (Fellow),  Chair of FCD Health Limited and Council  Member of Flinders University  has a special interest in furthering the education and training of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as health professionals, particularly in the Northern Territory. 

The Austin Taylor Indigenous NT Medical Program Scholarship has been established to support the retention and successful graduation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students as health professionals.

BENEFITS

Subject to the availability of funds, a minimum of one scholarship with a minimum value of $750 may be awarded each year.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must:

  • be of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; and
  • identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; and
  • be accepted as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander by the community in which they live or have lived; and
  • be enrolled as a student in the Flinders University Northern Territory Medical Program.

Applicants will need to login and navigate to the My Scholarships tab to submit an application. The application form for this scholarship is called "Indigenous Scholarships", or you can search for it by the keyword "Indigenous". You will be considered for multiple scholarships if you complete this application.
