Flinders University :School of Nursing and Midwifery Honours Scholarship

The Flinders University School of Nursing and Midwifery has established an Honours Scholarship to provide financial assistance to an undergraduate student enrolled in the Bachelor of Nursing or Midwifery (Honours) program in the Faculty of Health Sciences.


Subject to the availability of funds, there will be two scholarships valued at $5,000 each awarded annually.


Applicants must:

  • be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia; and
  • intend to commence or have commenced an Honours program offered by Flinders University, School of Nursing and Midwifery; and
  • have completed an appropriate undergraduate qualification; and
  • be eligible to register as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife in South Australia.


Applications should be submitted online through the Flinders University Student System. Applicants will need to login and navigate to the My Scholarships tab to submit an application. The application form for this scholarship is called "Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences Honours Scholarships", or you can search for it by the keyword "Health". You will be considered for both the School of Nursing and Midwifery Honours Scholarship and the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences Honours Scholarship if you complete this application. Please read the how to apply page and ensure that your personal details are up-to-date in  the Student System as your application will be assessed using this information.
