e-ssentials: Designing a topic with online in mind
This workshop looks at the principles and processes that are useful when designing for online learning. A combination of discussion and practical exercises will provide a supportive practice space for thinking in a designerly way.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- identify the principles which need to be addressed in the whole topic design
- describe some key characteristics of fully online learning
- identify the actions required in putting the whole topic together online
- know where to get further help
