Educational aims
In general the topic aims to lay the foundation that students can use the principles of Physics for understanding and solving problems in all areas of Engineering. In particular the topic aims that students

  1. Will understand and apply the fundamental principles of kinematics, mehcanical forces, oscillations, waves, sound, light and Electromagnetism
  2. Will learn how to use the principles of kinematics, mechanical forces, oscillations, waves, sound, light and Electromagnetism for problem solving
  3. Will develop the understanding how to carry out experiments in a Physics laboratory
Expected learning outcomes
At the completion of this topic students, are expected to be able to:
