Topic description

This topic equips students with digital design skills and knowledge including digital twins and design thinking.

Educational aims

This topic aims to cover the skills and knowledge required to digitally design a new system or component and optimise the system using digital twin. The student will learn to plan, design, implement and test an engineering system and validate the system using digital twin. Students will be able to use Flinders (Digital Fabrication Lab (including laser cutters and 3D printers) to make a physical prototype.
