Topic description

This topic provides students with the core skills required to understand and undertake social scientific research. The topic addresses research ethics, sample selection, qualitative and quantitative methods of data collection, analysis and interpretation and presentation of data.

Educational aims

This topic aims to equip students with the skills required to assess and ethically design and implement qualitative and quantitative social scientific research.

On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:
